Mo Khalil is a Recipient of the PECASE

On January 9th of this year, former president Obama credited 102 scientists and researchers with the Presidential Early Careers Awards for Scientists and Engineers (PECASE), with Boston University's very own Ahmad "Mo" Khalil being one of them. Khalil and a handful of other individuals were initially nominated and later selected by their parent sponsors for their promising early accomplishments and leadership skills in the STEM field.

The PECASE is recognized as the most prestigious honor given by the United States Government to outstanding scientists and researchers across the nation. Every Presidential award winner receives a citation, a plaque, and funding from their agency for up to five years to advance his or her research.
